In the last couple of years, BACK has developed into one of Sweden’s most prominent designer brands. Its ambition is to represent revolutionary thinking in fashion, aimed towards intelligent, style conscious women.
BACK combines interesting and comfortable. The clothes are wearable on an every-day basis, yet unique and exclusive at the same time. The style has its roots in the Scandinavian aesthetics in the sense that is often androgynous and without the restraints of a nation more steeped in tradition when it comes to fashion. BACK’s signature pieces play with the silhouette in a humorous and smart way. Her designs has been seen on Beyoncé, Rihanna, Robyn, Neneh Cherry, Lady Gaga, Noomi Rapace, Icona Pop, Chloe Sevigny and even the Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden.
The participating artists and fashion designers in ASYLUM have several things in common: a slightly surrealistic touch, an interest in the body, and the creation of a persona.

During the 1930s the photographer Hans Bellmer created gruesome tableaux and sculptures by disjointing dolls and then assembling the parts to form macabre bodies.
