Martine Marras is a French photographer born on Réunion Island, on the South-east coast of Africa. She is half Italian and half Chinese, and studied arts, philosophy and culture.
Martine focuses on people, how they see themselves, how they evolve in society. Her process, in which she photographs strangers, allows her to build unique relationships with her subjects. She hopes to capture their natural beauty.
She shoots on film, because it doesn’t lie.
Recently she has been working on a project about Women and their femininity.
