Arab Images Foundation®, a Lebanon-based NGO, is starting a website about media issues in the Middle East and North Africa. The goal is to boost the quality of journalism in the region, report on significant trends in the Arab-speaking media, press law and press freedom, and to create an online community of media professionals from the MENA region. Funding is guaranteed for the first year by the Dutch ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Dutch NGO Free Voice.
AIF is currently looking for:
- An Editor-in-Chief,
- An Editor,
- A Marketing & Advertising Manager,
- A Secretary/Office Manager.
The editorial team will be based in Beirut, Lebanon. Candidates will be consered from all countries of the MENA region but AIF is unable to offer relocation fees or provide housing. Salaries will be commensurate with experience, and competitive by industry standards.
Positions start August 1, 2007.
