The Competition: The Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year 2016 aims to promote food photography. The Awards seek to single out not only technical skill, but also originality of treatment and a real sense of connection with the subject matter whatever it may be.

Categories: Pink Lady Apple a Day, Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year, Food Bloggers, Unearthed Food in Film, Production Paradise Food off the Press, Young (under 18s), Food Sn-apping, Food for Celebration, Partridge Food for Sale, Food for the Family, Bring Home the Harvest, Politics of Food, Cream of the Crop, Ten Acre Food in the Field, Mark and Spencer Food Portraiture, and the Phillip Harben Award for Food in Action.

Prizes: The overall winner will receive 5000 pounds (approx. Rs. 4,89,780) and the title of Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year 2016. Winners of all the categories will receive trophies, and winners of Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year and Unearthed Food in Film category receive 1000 pounds (approx. Rs. 97,956). Also, the category winners will attend the VIP Awards evening at Mall Galleries, London.

Entry Fees: Entries are free for participants under 18 years of age. For adults, there will be a fee of 25 pounds (approx. Rs. 2449) for up to 5 entries, and 5 pounds (apporx. Rs. 490) for each additional entry.
