The contest is open to professional photographers attached to press agencies, medias and independent professional photographers. The winner will be selected for a work, which reports tragic situations or abuses against human rights or human dignity requiring a humanitarian action. Photoreports will not be accepted, if previous to two years.

Le Grand Prix Care International du Reportage Humanitaire sera remis le 1er septembre 2005 et son lauréat se verra attribué la somme de 8.000 euros : un prix porteur d'espoir pour les meilleurs reportages réalisés dans le monde entier.
