Zsu Szabó « Nothing Personal »
Zsu Szabó’s photographic works are concerned with a wide range of thematic fields, but despite their diversity, are ultimately always about the hidden, mysterious aspects of life, love, and our dark, often unadmitted desires, lusts and fears.
Under the title Nothing Personal Szabó is showing a selection of photographs from an extensive series entitled RAUSCHEN (Intoxications) in Künstlerhaus Bethanien. The first images of the series were produced rather by chance in private and intimate moments, but then supplemented gradually by shots of close friends that Szabó photographed spontaneously at exhibition openings, parties, meals, tattooing each other, in clubs etc.
