Robert Moran is a freelance photographer living in a small town on the coast of Maine. His photographs have been exhibited in museums and galleries across the U.S., as well as in France, Ireland, and Guatamala. Robert’s photographs have been published in The Photo Review, Shots Magazine, B & W + Color Magazine, F-Stop, Lenscratch, Maine, and Maine Home + Design Magazine. Collections include the Cleveland Clinic, the Magenta Foundation, and the Fort Wayne Museum of Art. In 2013 the Griffin Museum published an exhibition catalogue to coincide with his RELICS show.
As paradoxical as it might sound, nostalgia is in right now. Maybe it’s the digital era in which we live, but photographs have become, perhaps more than ever, our primary pathway into the past, whether that past be as far gone at the late 19th century or as recent as the early aughts. Revisiting past is like clawing at an itch ; perhaps we shouldn’t do it, but boy does it feel good sometimes. That’s why we’re inviting you to submit your nostalgia-inducing photographs.
