En 1997 il expose Motels in North America, à la Islington Arts Factory à Londres puis, en 2001, Bars North South America Europe. 2001 : « London Arts Award 2001 » pour son reportage intitulé East West. Il travaille régulièrement pour la presse londonienne (collabore au Sunday Times), spécialisé dans les affaires judiciaires.

Violoniste de profession, Sébastien Grébille s'est approché de la photographie par le biais de la musique. Retranscrire au public l'émotion, le geste technique ou la puissance des maîtres du classique est devenu incontournable.Peu à peu , il se mit à chercher ces ambiances intenses, lyriques et dramatiques en d'autres lieux.La recherche de sites intemporels et surréalistes parfois, où l'on retrouve une nature puissante, féérique, sauvage, mais aussi des traces de civilisation devint une priorité. Pour mettre en scène ces vues hors du commun, il utilise une technique de longue exposition : les ciels chargés de nuages denses s'expriment alors librement, la mer devient comme laiteuse... ce qui suggère la vision d'un autre monde.
