Owize Abuzaid

Owise Abuzaid is an applied arts graduate working in Cairo. In 2015 the young

photographer and filmmaker’s Yellow Shirt series won two prizes at the Youth Salon, the

Egyptian Ministry of Culture’s annual national arts competition, and was also exhibited

at LagosPhoto. In 2016 he has been selected for the New York Times Portfolio Review.

His work centres on an abstract approach to both form and content.
