Marco Lachi

Born in 1979 in Florence - Italy, before working as a photographer, Marco Lachi
worked as a planner in an architecture studio. In 2007, he earned his three-years
degree in photography at Fondazione Studio Marangoni, Florence where he
participated in several workshops with well-known photographers and artists,
such as Arnaud Claas, Guido Guidi, Mario Cresci, Paolo Woods, Paolo Verzone,
Edward Rozzo and others. In 2006 he participated in a workshop with Bas Princen
at Linea di Confine - Rubiera, with an exhibition in April 2008 during Fotografia
Europea festival in Reggio Emilia. In 2007, his work was recognised and selected
fot ATLANTE ITALIANO 007- a prize for young upcoming photographer by MAXXI
Museo Arte Contemporanea Roma and exhibited in Roma, Firenze and Reggio
Emilia. In 2008 he moved to South Africa, where he is currently working on
personal projects and began working on his project about urban fear.
