Born in 1963 in France, and born again to photography 20 years later after discovering Alexander Rodtchenko's low angle shots. Photography becomes a regular activity after a first series on jazz concerts, jazz music remains ever since a constant source of inspiration, inseparable from picture taking.
In the early 90's, Lee Friedlander met during a workshop at Arles Photo Festival encourages me to keep on working on his "strange pictures".
As of 1993 I began a series on Paris St Germain Football club's fans, another on the anonymous passerby's in big cities such as Paris and New York, and a series of landscapes in urban no-man's lands.
From 2001 onwards I started photographing street scenes, in particular in Prague, in Hungary, and in Asia.
From 2002 to 2007, a professional expatriation allows me the opportunity to begin a documentary work, first in black and white then in color, about Shanghai's popular and industrial neighborhoods bound for demolition.
I was the winner in May 2007 of the monthly on-line competition organized by Vis-à-vis International Magazine, with 6 images extracted from this series.
In 2008 I participated to a group show with his "at Shanghai Epson Exhibition Center and published the book" "Shanghai in .JPG" at "Beaugeste editions". A portfolio of the series was also publised by the french journal "Monde Chinois" in February 2009.
I am currently working on other documentary series one about "the other cities" of China, which brought me to Zhengzhou (Henan) nd Shenyang (Liaoning) in 2009, and another one in the outskirts of Paris.
