James-iroha Uchechukwu

Agé de 35 ans, lauréat du Prix Elan de l'Agence Française de Développement pour la série Fire, Flesh and Blood présentée aux 6èmes Rencontres africaines de la Photographie de Bamako, l'artiste a récemment participé à de nombreux événements tels que la Biennale de Singapour, la Biennale de Séville, l'exposition Snap Judgments à l'ICP de New York, l'exposition Depth of Field à la South London Gallery, aux Rencontres Internationales d'Arles 2006……..
The artist, aged 35, was recently awarded the Elan Prize by the French Development Agency for the body of work Fire, Flesh and Blood presented at the 6th African Photography Encounters. He participated in events such as the Singapore Biennale, the Sevilla Biennale, the Snap Judgments exhibition at the ICP New York, the Depth of Field exhibition at the South London Gallery, the 2006 International Photography Encounters of Arles ....
- Le lancement du premier livre de la série Photo en développement publié en août 2006 par l'Agence Française du Développement et les Editions de l'Oeil aura lieu à l'occasion du vernissage de cette exposition. -
- The first book of the Photo en Developpement series published by the French Development Agency and Editions de l'Oeil, will be presented during opening of the exhibition. -
