Gildas de La Monneraye is a french documentary photographer and artist based in New-Caledonia, South Pacific.
Since 2012 he has been living in various countries, working freelance for documenting social and cultural issues/subjects. In 2016, he became partner photographer at Keystone-SDA Swiss news Agency, based in Zürich. He chose to work in analog, using black and white films. The Agency Keystone-SDA hosts part of his works in its platform.
He tells a diverse range of stories that explore identity, religion, and social culture. Gildas explores the country in its different aspects: human condition, social transformation.His works have been exhibited in museums and art galleries.
