An award-winning visual artist since 2004 and professional photographer since 2009, Eduardo Javier García García is an emerging creative force in his native Cuba. With his keen eye focused on the human form and its interplay with its surroundings, he captures the essence of what makes everyday moments extraordinary.
Specializing in documentary photography, García has lectured in Venezuela and Argentina and has collaborated with his twin brother, Orlando García García, also an award-winning Cuban photographer, on the following three exhibits: “Angels in Havana” – 2005, “Life” – 2009, and “Similar but Different” – 2012. Each exhibit explored indelible moments reflecting the human spirit and life in Cuba.
A graduate of the Pedagogical Institute "Enrique José Varona" in 2005 with a concentration in Foreign Languages and Visual Arts, García is currently a member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC).
