Belgian photographer Annick Donkers presents in Mexico Fotoreportages 2 of her recent photo documents, both made during the photographer’s stay in Mexico in 2008. In ‘Devoted City’ she shows a series of portraits of people devoted to the many Catholic and Popular Saints existing within the Mexican culture. In ‘Casa de los Amigos’ she focuses on the mix of characters living in or visiting the Casa de los Amigos, a guesthouse and peace centre in Mexico City currently owned by the Quaker Society.
Guest is the Collective ‘Punto Ciego’, that was formed by the 15 members, ex-students of the Centro de la Imagen’s Seminar on Contemporary Photography....
