Anahita Avalos was born in Tehran and worked in Paris as a literacy teacher for adult migrants from Africa.
She started to take pictures on a regular basis 6 years ago when she went to live in Mexico and decided to documente her everyday life inside and outside the house,with a focus both on her son who has costello syndrom and the streets of Villahermosa in south east Mexico where she lived.
