Prague photo festival République tchèque
PRAGUE PHOTO 2014 will present itself this year at the same location as last, at the Kafka's house. The Kafka's house offers not only its central location, which substantionaly increases the interest in this only photo show in the Czech Republic. The space itself allows optimal separation of individual participants - galleries, curatorial projects, presentations of vocational schools.
Four floors of Kafka's house offer hundreds of photographic originals, from the classics through the middle generation to the youngest adepts of this media, workshops, lectures, launches of expert publications, interactive programs.
PRAGUE PHOTO since its inception seven years ago try to present a comprehensive developmental line in Czech photography, a number of participants this year brings rare sets from classics, others present latest trends in contemporary photography. Traditionally are hosted works froms students of vocational schools from across the Czech Republic.
PRAGUE PHOTO also become a major social event where you can meet photographers, curators, gallerists, historians, students, publishers and the general public, and experience together week of photos celebration.
The forthcoming PRAGUE PHOTO FESTIVAL introduces ten curatorial photographic projects, which the audience can see in Prague galleries, museums and various exhibition halls in Prague in April and May.
