I met Raymond and Kasey Meeks at the Lucky Oyster in Virginia Beach. My good friend Naoma asked me if I wanted to come and film and tweet with her to promote Dave Cynar who was also playing that night. I had no idea I would fall in love with Raymond and Kasey's voice that night. They did an awesome job and Im happy to have heard them sing. The year is 1845, the earliest days of the Oregon Trail, and a wagon team of three families has hired the mountain man Stephen Meek to guide them over the Cascade Mountains.
