It is named after the prominent local writer and political figure Jaume Fuster. Fuster was one of the chief pioneers in the resurgence of Catalan-language literature following the fall of the Franco dictatorship. The Jaume Fuster Library was awarded the 2006 FAD Architecture Prize, the most prestigious contemporary design prize to receive in Spain. The project was honoured for its delicate implantation in the urban context and the way it opens up new perspectives on the plaza on which it is situated. ROBIN GIBB Prebendal House Thame OxfordshireRobin Gibb had just filmed a concert in Germany & I was asked to shoot interviews at his house, "The Prebendal" in Thame, Oxfordshire. He was very pleasant & spent the afternoon showing us round the house, chapel & gardens, telling us all the different history of the building & past residents. The house was once a monastery where the Bishops decided Joan of Arc's fate; and Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn stayed here in 1533. I walked around the Chapel which had walls covered with Bee Gee's discs & said to Robin that it was a pretty impressive collection: He replied 'You should see the house in Miami'.

Robin Cousins - 1977 Europeans LPA great program but without too many triples. Robin was having his second round of knee cartiledge problems here. By Worlds in Tokyo that year his knee was blown yet he managed to make it through the SP by doing certain elements on the opposite leg. Robin was always a very good spinner in both directions. However his luck ran out in the LP where he felt his knee go again and despite throwing himself into a flying camel to try and get himself going again, he ended up withdrawing mid program by practically crawling off the ice. By the way his coach is identified by Phyllis George here as being Gladys Hogg. It's not. The lady with him is actually Joan Slater - Nicky Slater of Dancing on Ice Fame's Mother.
Mady Mesplé - LuciE dE Lammermoor - Donizetti - Scène de la folie (Studio 1963)dans la version française et dans le ton originel! TOP!!! Alors qu'elle n'avait pas la voix pour le rôle italien de Lucia qui exige les moyens d'un lirico-dramatico coloratura comme l'était idéalement Joan Sutherland, Mady Mesplé a en revanche tout à fait la voix du rôle tel que Donizetti l'a conçu pour la version française de l'ouvrage. Tout le rôle y est dans une tessiture plus aigüe et exige la voix d'un soprano léger (ce qu'était la créatrice de la version française mais que n'était pas du tout la créatrice de la version italienne).
