Lynn Seymour & David Wall "Romeo and Juliet" Bedroom PDDLynn Seymour and David Wall dance the bedroom pas de deux from Kenneth MacMillan's "Romeo and Juliet". Filmed in 1979 late in Seymour's career as part of the documentary by Karin Altmann "Lynn Seymour: In a Class of her Own". She was the originally intended creator of the part but the premiere was given to Fonteyn instead. Seymour was then routinely third or fourth cast in the run. MacMillan envisioned the lead roles on Seymour and Christopher Gable. Nureyev and Fonteyn were superstars and put the ballet on the map. Music by Prokofiev.

Pebble Mill At OneWhen the Queen visited Pebble Mill at Birmingham (in 1980 or 1981) they cobbled together this sequence which was mainly bits from the titles. It was amazingly short-sighted of the BBC to destroy so many of these (though some early ones probably weren't recorded). According to the Beeb there are 'several editions surviving from the 70's'. From a show that went out every day... But apparently the 2 inch master videotapes of Pebble Mill At One were still being thrown out in the 1990's. How could anyone imagine that a show that had so many interviews with so many famous people would not be of interest/valuable in the future? I wonder why David Seymour puts his hand on his head as there's a jolt as the six wheel vehicle goes through the doors? lol
Leicester Tigers 28-23 Sale Sharks - Aviva Premiership Rugby Highlights Round 12 | 01-01-12Tigers roll goes on with win over Sale Leicester claimed their seventh win in eight games in all competitions with a 28-23 victory over a gallant Sale Sharks at Welford Road. Share Success for Tigers sees them move into fourth place in the Aviva Premiership Rugby table after beating their opponents by three tries to two, although a vital bonus point proved beyond them. Richard Cockerill's side appeared to be running away with it after racing into a 17-0 lead thanks to a penalty try and Geordan Murphy's score, but Fraser McKenzie crossed for Sharks to keep them in the game. Alesana Tuilagi restored Tigers' lead and although Rob Miller kept the visitors' hopes alive Leicester just held the edge in an entertaining match. Sale got 2012 off to the worst possible start when flanker David Seymour and prop Henry Thomas - promoted from the bench with Tony Buckley absent ill - were involved in a sickening clash of heads in the second minute. Thomas dashed off to get a gash above the eye seen to, and when he returned he failed to see out the half after picking up what looked like a serious knee injury. Seymour was in no shape to continue though and is likely to be out for at least a fortnight with a clear case of concussion. It meant the Sharks were on the back foot from the restart, Tigers camped out in the opposition 22 before the referee awarded a penalty try following a succession of failed scrums. Sharks tried to work their way back into the game with a good spell of possession ...

London Wasps 18 - 29 Sale Sharks - Aviva Premiership Rugby Highlights Round 2 | 17-09-11Wasps succumb to Sale Close-season signing Fraser McKenzie opened his scoring account as Sale handed Wasps their first defeat of the Aviva Premiership season. Share The 23-year-old former Scotland Under-19 captain - signed from Edinburgh - sparked a fine recovery by the Sharks, who dominated for long spells to turn the match around after trailing 10-3 after 14 minutes. Sale's other try came from skipper David Seymour with 19 points from the boot of fly-half Nick Macleod, relishing the role of front-line kicker following Charlie Hodgson's move to Saracens. Macleod took his points tally for the campaign to 41 from three matches with five penalties and two conversions as Sale notched their second victory of the season. Former Sale centre Chris Bell and fly-half Ryan Davis scored the Wasps tries, with Davis adding a conversion and two penalties. Macleod kicked Sale into a third-minute lead after Wasps were caught offside but the hosts responded five minutes later with an excellent try. Full-back Richard Haughton, making his first start of the season, provided the springboard for a four-man move, fielding a kick just inside his own half and bursting through a gap in the Sale midfield. He found England Under-20 flanker Joe Launchbury up in support before Wasps' two ex-Sale centres provided the finish, Chris Mayor producing the final pass for Bell's touchdown. Davis converted and stretched the lead to 10-3 with a 14th-minute penalty which went in off the far post. Macleod was ...
