Warren Buffett - This is Always a Bad InvestmentFor the latest Warren Buffett, go to WarrenBuffettNews.com - From 2008 to 2009 it was a once in a lifetime year. There was even more panic than the Great Depression because of how fast it came on. Congress came through into the end. We had the right people in Washington. We don't know what would have happened if other men were in that position. This was a great opportunity to purchase a business that will be around for hundreds of years. It is the most inexpensive way for travel, and it is the best for the environment. Both of those things are going to be important in the future. There will be more people and more goods in America in the future. If Charlie had agreed with this purchase, then it probably would have been the wrong answer. He just kin of grumbled, which is a goos sign. The railroad business is highly controlled, and it is capital intensive. But it will be here, and if it provides reasonable returns, then that it good enough. Coal is widely shipped by train. We will wean ourselves off of coal, and we will reduce our use of that over time. If someone wants to replicate a railroad company, it might take $100 million. Railroads have become far more efficient over the years. They move far more goods with fewer people. Cash is always a bad investment. Cash has never produced anything, and its value will go down over time. We will always have cash around, but it's not good to have too much. You would much rather own a good business. Every currency will be worth ...

charlie daniels band - still in saigondedicated to my brother who was or should i say is a marine, he was a gunner on a helicopter. He joined the marines right before he was to be drafted into the army. not only was he spit upon and called names when he returned from Vietnam, he was indeed still in saigon for several months....perhaps still is idk..i just remember how sick he was and how i couldn't go into the room to wake him, had to call his name from outside the door. he returned from the jungle with mono and a bad case of jaudice..he served his country well and they betrayed him upon his arrival home..i pray we as a country may not agree with invasions, war, or whatever the government chooses to call it, but we will never again treat those who give up their freedom and lives the way we did the veterans of Vietnam..hate the war, not the warior...i love you Ronnie...you were always my hero..you always stood up for me when the boys on the block would play too rough...lol you taught me how to stand up for myself...video is from appocalypse now, real footage of the tet offensive in vietnam, bad company 2,call of duty black ops and pink floyd's the wall :) hope you enjoy the tunes...

Anders Osborne "On the Road to Charlie Parker" - Live (6-11-2010) @ Crabby Daddy's in Houston, TXThis was shot on the first night of a two-night gig at Crabby Daddy's in Houston, TX. I apologize for the quality of the video but it was taken on a point and shoot camera, not on a real video camera. I only took one video the first night just to see what it would look like. I figured that the picture would be kind of grainy but I thought for sure that the audio would be unusable. After watching the video the next day, it actually turned out pretty good so I decided to take a few more the next night and post them. If you are unfamiliar with Anders Osborne, you should definitely look him up, he is an amazing musician. I have been watching him perform for the past 10+ years and have never been to a bad concert. Most of the songs I posted from this gig are off his new CD "American Patchwork" which is on sale now and definitely worth buying!

Aerial Chivalry -The Story of Charlie Brown and Franz StiglerCharlie Brown was a B-17 Flying Fortress pilot with the 379th Bomber Group at Kimbolton, England. His B-17 was called 'Ye Old Pub' and was in a terrible state, having been hit by flak and fighters. The compass was damaged and they were flying deeper over enemy territory instead of heading home to Kimbolton. After flying over an enemy airfield, a pilot named Franz Stigler was ordered to take off and shoot down the B-17. When he got near the B-17, he could not believe his eyes. In his words, he 'had never seen a plane in such a bad state'. The tail and rear section was severely damaged, and the tail gunner wounded. The top gunner was all over the top of the fuselage. The nose was smashed and there were holes everywhere. Despite having ammunition, Franz flew to the side of the B-17 and looked at Charlie Brown, the pilot. Brown was scared and struggling to control his damaged and blood-stained plane. Aware that they had no idea where they were going, Franz waved at Charlie to turn 180 degrees. Franz escorted and guided the stricken plane to and slightly over the North Sea towards England. He then saluted Charlie Brown and turned away, back to Europe. When Franz landed he told the CO that the plane had been shot down over the sea, and never told the truth to anybody. Charlie Brown and the remains of his crew told all at their briefing, but were ordered never to talk about it. More than 40 years later, Charlie Brown wanted to find the Luftwaffe pilot who saved the crew. After ...
