Robert Knoth (Netherlands, 1963) has worked as a rock photographer from 1990 to 1994, when he decided to go to Somalia to do a story on the civil war. Since 1994 he has worked in many parts of the world including Afghanistan, Sudan, the former Yugoslavia, Angola, Somalia, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Thailand, Israel.
