Né en France, Patrick Demarchelier a commencé sa carrière
de photographe à Paris.
En 1975 il s'installe à New York ou il travaille pour différents
magazines comme «Glamour», «Mademoiselle», Vogue»,
«GQ» ainsi que «Rolling Stone».
En 1992 Patrick Demarchelier commence une collaboration
avec «Harper's Bazaar» dont il devient rapidement le
photographe attitré.
