Juan Pablo Echeverri Muñoz was born on 22 November 1978 in Colombia. He studied Visual Art between 1997 and 2002 at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota. Now a photographer and film maker, Juan concentrates on self portraits .His work explores themes of identity, image and gender in the public and private realms, and the way in which individual identity develops over time.
