Dennis Stock est né à New York en 1928. Evoquant l'esprit de l'Amérique à travers ses portraits iconiques des stars hollywoodiennes, Stock est également connu pour ses portraits de jazzmen des années 60. Stock a publié un livre, présenté une exposition presque chaque année depuis 1950. Il a enseigné dans de nombreux workshops et exposé ses clichés très largement. Il a rejoint Magnum en 1951 et en devint membre en 1954....
