En 1977, Alain Paviot crée une des premières galeries de photographie et acquiert rapidement le statut d'expert international en matière de photographie historique et moderne. En 1995, Françoise Paviot le rejoint pour créer un nouvel espace ouvert également à la photographie contemporaine. Depuis, ils défendent ensemble vintages et oeuvres contemporaines dont les qualités plastiques et le pouvoir d'abstraction viennent prendre naturellement place dans l'histoire des formes et de la représentation.

In 1977, Alain Paviot created one of the first photography galleries and quickly became an internationally acknowledged expert in the field of both classic and modern photography. In 1995, when Françoise Paviot joined him, they opened a new space which also features works by contemporary photographers. Together, they support a vision of photography, both vintage and contemporary, whose plastic quality and abstract power establishes its place in the history of form and representation.
