Art+Shanghai was founded in October 2007 by four partners who share a long passion and involvement in art. Showcasing established and emerging contemporary artists, Art+Shanghai has its pulse on the sprawling Chinese contemporary art scene.

Art+Shanghai is a dynamic art space located on 22 Fumin Lu, House 2 in the heart of the former French concession, Art+Shanghai echoes Shanghai international tone with its vibrant and stimulating projects. The intimate gallery setting and courtyard extension is a high profile gallery dedicated to the exhibition, promotion and development of contemporary art in Shanghai. It maintains a groundbreaking program of small scale solo exhibitions and group shows that introduce exciting new work to local audiences.

Art+Shanghai provides art advisory services to both private and corporate clients building collections by consulting on and locating artworks. Art+Shanghai provides all necessary collector services, from management of transportation, documentation and insurance, to providing professional onsite consultation and installation.

Art+Shanghai is devoted to the promotion of established and upcoming Chinese artists with a focus on unique artistic style and high quality artwork. Art+Shanghai artists maintain an openness to embrace outside ideas while maintaining their own national identity and creating a rousing art scene. Though its network of partner galleries Art+Shanghai curates exhibitions in the US and Europe and likewise represents artists and artworks from abroad.
