Van Ham celebrate their 10th anniversary with over 400 works by outstanding photographers, among them regulars such as August Sander, Albert Renger-Patzsch, Bernd and Hilla Becher, Andreas Gursky or Irving Penn. In 1995 "Batman forever"came out in the U.S. and this year - much longed for - "The dark Knight". In Cologne 2008 we say "Batman is still alive" at VAN HAM. One of the top lots of this year's autumn sale is the large-format Batman photograph by Daniel and Geo Fuchs from their series "Toygiants", accurately named like the book, which was published in 2007.
