The Robert Morat Gallery is thrilled to present Sebastian Denz’ award-winning series “SKATEBOARDING.3D“ (BFF Award 2008).
Sebastian Denz resorts to the urban world of skateboarders and with his especially manufactured stereo camera, equipped to hold 20 x 25 cm negatives, he creates hyperreal 3D spaces. Eventhough the technical aspect of his series might take the viewers first interest, Sebastian Denz follows a theoretical reflection: “I bring up for discussion a hybrid space that is in between virtual and real – a 'postvirtual space'!“
