After months of anticipation, the winners of Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2010 were announced last night at a gala awards ceremony held at the Natural History Museum, London.

March of the crabs by Pascal Kobeh from Paris was named winner of the competition’s Behaviour: All Other Animals category, which seeks to feature the seldom witnessed or little understood behaviour of animals that are not birds or mammals. Le nom des vainqueurs du concours Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2009 a été dévoilé la nuit dernière (21 octobre), lors d’une cérémonie étincelante de remise des prix organisée au Musée d’histoire naturelle de Londres.
Michel Loup de Perrigny, dans l’Est de la France, fait partie des gagnants du 46ème concours annuel, qui a attiré le nombre record de 43 135 candidatures de 94 pays, et est considéré par beaucoup comme le plus prestigieux de son genre.
