Extra! Extra! Tales from the Daily Herald Picture Library
To mark the Museum’s recent name change we look at how photography, fi lm, television, radio and computers are represented within the Daily Herald Picture Library. This is an opportunity for the Museum to show material related to these topics.
The Daily Herald ran from 1912 until 1964, and at its peak had one of the biggest circulations of any national newspaper anywhere in the world. In 1964 the Herald was sold and re-launched by its new owners as The Sun.
