In the exhibition the complex work of one of the most renowned German photographers is to be discovered. The exhibition is the third station of a cooperation between the Museum der Bildenden Künste Leipzig and the Sprengel Museum Hanover.

Timm Rautert was born in 1941. He was pupil of Otto Steinert at the Folkwang School in Essen. From 1970 onwards he worked as a photojournalist for numerous magazines as for example the ZEITmagazin.
