Remix: New Modernities in a Post-Indian World
Fifteen artists from throughout the Western Hemisphere explore ideas on the fringes and edges of human identity. Representing the next generation of progressive and experimental indigenous artists, this contemporary exhibition collectively searches for a new language of artistic practice and pushes the boundaries of the expected. Organized in collaboration with the George Gustav Heye Center at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of the American Indian in New York. Remix will travel to George Gustav Heye Center in May 2008.
