Gitterman Gallery is proud to present an exhibition of vintage photographs by Robert D’Alessandro.  The exhibition will open with a reception on Thursday, February 26th from 6 to 8 p.m. and continue through Saturday, May 9th.

DANIEL MASCLET photography

Gitterman Gallery is proud to present an exhibition of vintage photographs by Daniel Masclet.  The exhibition will open with a reception on Thursday, December 11th from 6 to 8 p.m. and continue through Saturday, February 14th.

Daniel Masclet (1892-1969) was a central figure in French photography from the 1930s to the 1950s. Most known for organizing the groundbreaking 1933 exhibition of nude photography and its corresponding book, Nus: La Beauté de la femme, Masclet’s own artistic achievements in photography have been largely overlooked in the United States.

Josef Breitenbach exhibition of vintage photographs

Gitterman Gallery is proud to present an exhibition of vintage photographs by Josef Breitenbach concurrent with the release of the book Josef Breitenbach: Manifesto (Nazraeli Press, 2008).  The exhibition will open with a reception to celebrate the artist and the recent publication on Wednesday, September 17th from 6 to 8 p.m. and continue through Saturday, November 22nd.

ARTHUR S. AUBRY

Gitterman Gallery is proud to present an exhibition of contemporary color photographs by Arthur S. Aubry (b. 1960).  The exhibition will open with a reception for the artist on Thursday, May 22nd from 6 to 8 p.m. and continue through Friday, August 1st.

Photographing in and around the Pacific Northwest, Arthur S.
