The Unseen Eye : L'exposition évènement de photos sans regards

All eyes will be on George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film this fall as it presents one the largest exhibitions in its history — The Unseen Eye: Photographs from the W.M. Hunt Collection. More than 500 photographs by the masters of the medium will be on view Oct. 1, 2011 through Feb. 19, 2012. The Eastman House is dedicating all of its primary gallery space to this exhibition.

Larry Towell - The World From My Front Porch

In celebration of three decades of photojournalism, George Eastman House presents a multi-media retrospective exhibition of work by the photographer Larry Towell, featuring photographs, writings, and audio recordings of original spoken words and music performances. Through an intimate perspective, Towell has captured scenes from the many political and geographical conflicts of the last thirty years. The World from My Front Porch is an exhibition that seeks to address the impact of social unrest on cultural identity.

Heroes of Horticulture

George Eastman House is collaborating with The Cultural Landscape Foundation (TCLF) in Washington, DC to create an exhibition titled Heroes of Horticulture. On view at Eastman House from December 1, 2007 to March 2, 2008, the exhibition is part of TCLF’s Landslide 2007, Heroes of Horticulture project. Landslide, a program first undertaken in 2003, identifies and highlights historic landscapes at risk and chronicles their preservation efforts through the media.
