Jaroslav Poncar - 30 years in Asia

 Jaroslav Poncar was born in Prague in 1945. Since 1973 he lives in Cologne, where he is Professor for Photo Engineering and Media Technology at the University of Applied Sciences. His countless, photographically motivated travels took him mostly to the Himalayas and Tibet, to Central Asia, India and Cambodia. Since 1976 he has developed an especial preference for panorama photography. In 1985, he was the first European to cross Tibet from East and West.
