Nikitia Pirogov & Alena Zhandarova - Anzenberger Gallery
AnzenbergerGallery artists Nikita Pirogov and Alena Zhandarova, both only 22 years old, won the 1st and 2nd Prize of the European Master of Fine Art Photography at the IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) in Madrid. Nikita Pirogov won 9000 Euro but still has to pay the registration fee of 3500 Euro. Alena Zhandarova has won 50 % of this Masterclass with Euro 4500 Euro and still has to pay the other half and the registration fee of 3500 Euro. Rimaldas Viksraitis & Martin Parr: THE REAL WORLD
The British renowned photographer Martin Parr as well as the Lithuanian photographer Rimaldas Viksraitis will be shown in Vienna for the first time!
The Gallery owner Regina Maria Anzenberger was inspired for this show by last year’s Kaunas photo festival in Lithuania, where both artists were exhibited.
The sales exhibition is accompanied by a lecture of Martin Parr at the Academy of Arts one day after the gallery opening.

HEINRICH KUEHN The Collection of Autochrome Plates 1907-1913
The photographer Heinrich Kühn was born in Dresden in 1866 and lived in Innsbruck and Birgitz from 1888 until his death in 1944.
Heinrich Kühn is considered to be one of the most important practitioners and theorists of artistic photography in Europe and his photographs were shown in all the famous international galleries. He had contact with the most renowned photographers of his period including Frank Eugene, Edward Steichen and Alfred Stieglitz. As early as in 1908, Kühn’s works were published in Stieglitz’s magazine “Camera Work”, as well as in “The Studio”.
