Le Château d’eau présente cinq séries de Sabine Delcour, artiste française qui promène son regard photographique sur les paysages qu’elle traverse.
Depuis une quinzaine d’années, elle explore la notion de territoire par le biais de la photographie et du langage. Son appréhension du paysage, qu’il soit urbain ou rural, est empreint de mémoire, la mémoire de ses habitants. Elle tente de sortir du champ strict de l’observation et d’aller au-delà d’une représentation paysagère traditionnelle. Au ras du sol, elle pose son regard et entre en contact avec la terre.

The Château d’eau presents five series of Sabine Delcour, French artist who casts her photographic eyes over the landscape she crosses.
For fifteen years, she explores the notion of territory by means of photography and language. Her apprehension of the landscape, whether urban or rural, is stamped with memory, the memory of its inhabitants. She tries to get outside the strict observation and to go beyond a traditional landscape. At ground level, she raises her eyes and comes into contact with earth.
