THE 7TH VEVEY INTERNATIONAL PHOTO AWARD IS PLEASED TO PRESENT THE MEMBERS OF THE JURY, CHAIRED BY MALICK SIDIBÉ
THE 2009 JURY
We are extremely honoured that the jury will be chaired this year by the great African portraitist
MALICK SIDIBÉ, who has received, amongst many other awards, the Hasselblad Prize and the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the Venice Biennale.
The following board will examine the propositions: TODD BRANDOW, (Executive director, Foundation for the Exhibition of Photography, Paris), MONIKA FABER (Head of the photographic collection, Albertina Museum, Vienna), GEERT GOIRIS, (Artist and recipient of the last Vevey Photo Award, Antwerpen), ANNETTE KULENKAMPFF (Director, Hatje Cantz Edition, Stuttgart-Ostfildern), STEFANO STOLL (Director, festival Images', Vevey).
REALIZE YOUR PROJECT IN ONE YEAR!
The Vevey Photo Award is an international competition of photographic projects with a first prize of 30,000CHF (approx. 20,000 €). The first prize should enable the winner to realize his or her project within one year. The project must be completed in order to be exhibited at the next festival Images' in Vevey in September 2010. The jury will base its decision primarily upon the quality of ideas submitted.
PARTICIPATION
There are no limitations as to the choice of subject matter or genre. The competition is open to professional artists or photographers, and to students. Its aim is to support talented creators, without any limit of age, by enabling them to carry out a personal project.
The jury is free to award special mentions to certain projects submitted. Please note that the organizers of Images' will also pick out specific projects which will be exhibited alongside the prize-winning entry during the next edition of the festival 2010.
Les photographes sont invités à soumettre leurs images pour le prestigieux prix Hasselblad Masters. Les catégories et les conditions de participation au prix 2014 ont été élargies, ce qui ouvre le concours à un nombre inédit de photographes.
Véritable succès en 2011 lors de sa première édition, le prix Photo par Nature permet aux professionnels et amateurs éclairés de voir leurs meilleures photographies exposées dans l’enceinte du Jardin des Plantes. Organisé conjointement par le Muséu...
Les participants disposent ainsi d’un peu plus de quatre mois pour présenter jusqu’à trois photographies, entre amusement et insouciance, folâtrerie espiègle ou badinerie.
Un jury pluridisciplinaire se réunira en août 2012 et attribuera les trois prix suivants parmi les participants :
Le samedi 5 mai 2012, seul ou en binôme, vous ferez battre la ville de Lyon au rythme des 12 déclics photographiques qui feront peut-être de vous l’un des lauréats du Créathlon Photo... Et qui vous permettront de repartir avec l’un des nombreux prix mis en jeu !
Les participants ont 24h00 pour imaginer 12 photographies sur une pellicule couleur 12 poses ou un appareil jetable, illustrant 12 thèmes connus au dernier moment. Le jury se compose cette année de Anne-sophie Annese, Benoît Cary, Michaël Korchia, Harold Lagaillarde, Xavi...
