PHOTO CONTEST RECEIVES UNIQUE HONORS
The PGB Photo Award, the first European photo contest outside
Great Britain, has scored the highest marks from the photography organisation Pro-Imaging for its respect for photographers copyright.
The international photo organisation Pro-Imaging reviews and sets standards for photographers rights in connection with photo contests all over the world. Swedens The PGB Photo Award has now received the organisations highest honor: "the green light".
- Its of course flattering that The PGB Photo Award has become one of the first photo contests in the world to live up to Pro-Imagings tough demands. Complicated contest rules hardly ever put the photographers rights first, so we whole-heartedly support the work of this organisation, says Jonas Lemberg, founder of The PGB Photo Award.

About The PGB Photo Award: The PGB Photo Award is a yearly photo contest dedicated to find the best pictures taken during the year: The contest is open to everybody in the world and has twelve categories. Entries are accepted up to January 4, 2009 whereafter theyll be judged by an international jury. The winners are presented March 6, 2009 at Berns Salonger in Stockholm, Sweden. The goal of the contest is to help change the world for the better. The total prize equals 30,000 USD. The PGB Photo Award is financed through sponsors, entry fees and donations.
Les photographes sont invités à soumettre leurs images pour le prestigieux prix Hasselblad Masters. Les catégories et les conditions de participation au prix 2014 ont été élargies, ce qui ouvre le concours à un nombre inédit de photographes.
Véritable succès en 2011 lors de sa première édition, le prix Photo par Nature permet aux professionnels et amateurs éclairés de voir leurs meilleures photographies exposées dans l’enceinte du Jardin des Plantes. Organisé conjointement par le Muséu...
Les participants disposent ainsi d’un peu plus de quatre mois pour présenter jusqu’à trois photographies, entre amusement et insouciance, folâtrerie espiègle ou badinerie.
Un jury pluridisciplinaire se réunira en août 2012 et attribuera les trois prix suivants parmi les participants :
Le samedi 5 mai 2012, seul ou en binôme, vous ferez battre la ville de Lyon au rythme des 12 déclics photographiques qui feront peut-être de vous l’un des lauréats du Créathlon Photo... Et qui vous permettront de repartir avec l’un des nombreux prix mis en jeu !
Les participants ont 24h00 pour imaginer 12 photographies sur une pellicule couleur 12 poses ou un appareil jetable, illustrant 12 thèmes connus au dernier moment. Le jury se compose cette année de Anne-sophie Annese, Benoît Cary, Michaël Korchia, Harold Lagaillarde, Xavi...
Destiné aux talents photographiques amateurs, ce concours sur le thème: ‘’Dunkerque, Dunk de toi !’’ permet d’associer étroitement les photographes amoureux de leur région à la réalisation du City Calendrier Dunkerque, premier calendrier photographique perpétuel enti&egr...
