ILEX was created with the desire to bring inspiring images from well-renowned and established photographers to as wide a range of people as possible.
Set up like a virtual lounge, you can choose to gaze at the prints and listen to a photographer tell you the story behind an image. ILEX hopes to awaken in you a passion in photography. And since we believe its fun to share your passions, all the photographs at ILEX can be taken home with you. We want to make the photograph as accessible as possible - by fixing large editions of 300 prints, with one set format and price, you can let photography into your life.
Who are we?
We are passionate about photography. Two women established in the photography field for many years, we have worked with photographers through agencies, international photography festivals, exhibitions, books and on assignment. Our experience is rich in its diversity. ILEX is also diverse in its background we are at once Italian, American and Swiss. Our approach to photography is multifaceted and a major driving force behind our vision.
Our prints
ILEX has chosen to digitally print its photographs on Hahnemühle FineArt paper to provide you with premium quality images. combining the precision of modern photographic papers and the unique charm of artistic papers. Your photographs will remain vivid throughout the years thanks to the archival quality of the paper. All our photographs are digitally printed at the 10b Photography laboratory in Rome, Italy. ILEX prints come with white cotton gloves for you to use when handling your photograph, so as to protect it from smudges and unseemly marks.
Authenticity of prints
Each photographer likes his or her prints to look a certain way. At ILEX we fully respect this and every print is made following two signed artists proofs authenticated by the photographer. Each photographic print is annotated with the photographers name, the series number and embossed with the ILEX seal, which is your certificate that your print is of museum quality.
