The French Association des Femmes Journalistes (AFJ) and Canon France are launching, with Images Evidence, the tenth competition of the Canon Female Photojournalist Award granted by the Association des femmes Journalistes (AFJ).
This Award, with support of Le Figaro Magazine, is handed out every year during the Visa pour l’Image Festival in Perpignan (France). It is granted by Canon France and supports with 8000 Euros a woman photographer with a photojournalistic project. It is opened to professional women photojournalists of any age and nationality.
The winner will be selected in June by a jury made up of photography and press professionals as well as members of the Association des Femmes Journalistes. Applicants will be judged both upon the presentation of their project and their previous work. Among the selection criteria are the quality of the photographs, as well as the journalistic thoughts and relevance of the chosen subject.
The Award will be handed to the winner in Perpignan on September 2010, during one of the showing nights of the Visa pour l’Image Festival. The winner will produce an ongoing one year project which will lead to an exhibition or showing at the Festival in the 2011 edition.

Les photographes sont invités à soumettre leurs images pour le prestigieux prix Hasselblad Masters. Les catégories et les conditions de participation au prix 2014 ont été élargies, ce qui ouvre le concours à un nombre inédit de photographes.
Véritable succès en 2011 lors de sa première édition, le prix Photo par Nature permet aux professionnels et amateurs éclairés de voir leurs meilleures photographies exposées dans l’enceinte du Jardin des Plantes. Organisé conjointement par le Muséu...
Les participants disposent ainsi d’un peu plus de quatre mois pour présenter jusqu’à trois photographies, entre amusement et insouciance, folâtrerie espiègle ou badinerie.
Un jury pluridisciplinaire se réunira en août 2012 et attribuera les trois prix suivants parmi les participants :
Le samedi 5 mai 2012, seul ou en binôme, vous ferez battre la ville de Lyon au rythme des 12 déclics photographiques qui feront peut-être de vous l’un des lauréats du Créathlon Photo... Et qui vous permettront de repartir avec l’un des nombreux prix mis en jeu !
Les participants ont 24h00 pour imaginer 12 photographies sur une pellicule couleur 12 poses ou un appareil jetable, illustrant 12 thèmes connus au dernier moment. Le jury se compose cette année de Anne-sophie Annese, Benoît Cary, Michaël Korchia, Harold Lagaillarde, Xavi...
