The Opal Gallery and AKA Photo Project, a new initiative to showcase talented amateur photographers, announce the exhibit Face à Face at Opal Gallery. Curated by Etienne Abobi, founder and managing director of AKA Photo Project, Face à Face will unveil thirty-seven images that provide perspectives of places and faces in and around Atlanta through the eyes - and lens - of the French. AKA Photo Project promotes emerging and amateur photographers, with a twist: The "AKA" implies that these photographers are "accidental artists,” people who are not artists by profession, but who pursue photography as a passion... and happen to be quite good at it.
