This season focuses on the nature and use of objects within the representational space of the photographic image.

Ori Gersht artist will be in conversation with David Chandler, writer, curator an director of Photoworks on January the 27 at 6.00pm.

Over the past fifteen years, Ori Gersht has worked with photography and film to explore history and metaphor, and journeys in which the nature of place and geography is interwined with the idea of metaphysical space. In his work Gersht pushes the camera to the limits of what it can record, and consistently tests the stable, material basis of the photograph.
