The fourth edition of the Prize Arte Laguna 2009 it’s aimed for the promotion of contemporary art, focusing especially on art photography, painting and sculpture, for giving a special insight of the new generation of young artists.
This international competition, organized by the Cultural Association MoCA in collaboration with Arte Laguna, among others, is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Veneto Region, European Institute of Design IED and especially from Nikon.
The Photographic Art section of Arte Laguna Prize is headed by Alessandro Trabucco active as an independent curator for private and public galleries. Since the 2007 he is collaborating with “Gente di Fotografia” magazine. The president of the Photography Jury for the selection phase is supported by a very special juror: Rossella Bertolazzi. She is the director of the Visual Arts couse at the European Institute of Design IED as well as the editor and the editorial consultant for Franco Angeli, Mursia, Mondadori, Garzanti, Rusconi and Feltrinelli publishers.
The competition is open to all, withou any limits of age, sex, nationality or other qualification. Each artist can participate with one or two works. For students under 25, enrolled in art school, Academy of Fine Arts and similar there is a reduced admission fee. Entries by mail will close November 15, 2009, while on-line will end November 26, 2009.
The total prizes of the Prize Arte Laguna 2009 are important: the winner of each section will win an economic prize of 5,000.00 €, while for the 90 finalists (30 per section) will be organized a prestigious collective exhibition in March 2010 in an exclusive venue, the Arsenal of Venice.
Other significant changes from previous editions concern: the decision to leave the property of the winning works to the artist himself and the increase of the circuit of exhibition venues in Italy and abroad, where will be organized personal exhibitions in the year 2010/2011.
The latest news is the new section “under 25”. In addiction to the collective of the Venice in the Arsenale is planned another exhibition vin the prestigious Palazzo Correr in Venice where it will take place a collective exhibition, a selection, of the best under 25 enrolled in the Arte Laguna Prize.

Les photographes sont invités à soumettre leurs images pour le prestigieux prix Hasselblad Masters. Les catégories et les conditions de participation au prix 2014 ont été élargies, ce qui ouvre le concours à un nombre inédit de photographes.

Les participants disposent ainsi d’un peu plus de quatre mois pour présenter jusqu’à trois photographies, entre amusement et insouciance, folâtrerie espiègle ou badinerie.
Un jury pluridisciplinaire se réunira en août 2012 et attribuera les trois prix suivants parmi les participants :
Le samedi 5 mai 2012, seul ou en binôme, vous ferez battre la ville de Lyon au rythme des 12 déclics photographiques qui feront peut-être de vous l’un des lauréats du Créathlon Photo... Et qui vous permettront de repartir avec l’un des nombreux prix mis en jeu !
Les participants ont 24h00 pour imaginer 12 photographies sur une pellicule couleur 12 poses ou un appareil jetable, illustrant 12 thèmes connus au dernier moment. Le jury se compose cette année de Anne-sophie Annese, Benoît Cary, Michaël Korchia, Harold Lagaillarde, Xavi...
