The architecture is splendid with merchant houses and baroque style buildings along the canals. Modern architecture has been developed between facades of historical buildings.We will be reporting back on this amazing city and interviewing creatives about their lives in Amsterdam.
MIAMI
Miami is recognised as a global city because of its importance in finance, commerce, media, arts and entertainment.
Miami boasts some of the coolest nightspots in the world. Nightclubs include Space, Parkwest, Ink, Mansion and Cameo. It is part of 'clubland' along with Ayia Napa, Ibiza and Mykonos.
Media: Miami is the headquarters and main production city for many of the largest TV networks, broadcasting companies and production facilities such as Telemundo, Tele Futura, Mega TV and others.
It is also a major fashion centre, home to models and some of the top modelling agencies in the world. Miami also hosts many fashion shows including Miami Fashion Week and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
Select will be interviewing photographers, creatives and brand managers for an overview on this dynamic city.
TOKYO PART 2
Known for its museums, art galleries, parades and festivals as well as Japanese and Western pop venues.Tokyo is a busy, colourful city with its own definition of creativity, everything from the latest fashion brands to age old Buddist and Shinto Temples.
Tokyo cuisine is internationally acclaimed, gathering a spectacular 227 Michelin stars and of course is known for its Sushi Houses and the extraordinary Tokyo fish market.
Hollywood directors have chosen Tokyo as a contemporary location but it still retains its link with the past through Sumo wrestlers and the Kubuki theater.
Select will be interviewing photographers, creatives and brand managers reporting back on this extraordinary city.
